Hahahaha, Denzil is doing good, His wife and kids arrived and they found a house. I'm speaking to him on a daily basic on facebook.Think he found a house 5km from work and the school is just around the corner. He is trying to buy his first car there this week so I'm holing thumbs that he found something nice.

I'm so happy for him, seems that he is really happy.

Will ask him to pop in

Greetings to all the poeple here and let me teel you...it has surely been a rollercoasted ride from landing up to this point.... Lets start with:

Chapter 7 (The new beginning)

The saturday before liftoff I wanted to spend the last day with the wife and kids, not knowing when I will see them again and on our way there my father in laws car did not feel good and we dropped the wife and kids off at Kolonade and we both went to see what is the problem with the car. About R6000 later and 5 hours along the line the car was halfway fixed and just in time to pick up the kids and wife al the mall....had no time to do our last Wimpy lunch....but al least his car was fixed now and with the kids needed to ride in the car I felt a bit safer.

Sunday we went to the airport early to spend that day with the family after booking in and as life will have it....had to run to cath the plane.

I needed to wrap the bicucle box and the wrappers had to walk or crawl to the other side of the building to get the plastic bag. Ok, so that was sorted and rady to book in, I knew I was 6kg overweigh and prepared to pay for it and when I got there with my sporting goods the "Tribe poeple" did not know what to do with it as they did not know it existed...so after an hour of explaining and waiting for someone to come and said its ok, then I was 12kg overweight. I tried to keep calm with the knowledge that I will be leaving soon...paid the money and was told to stand in another line and that line was packed. Well waited and waited and when it was my turn, booked in and one lady asked why I was billed double for the weight and had to go back to be re-imbursed for the 6kg they overcharged me...after that was over, I managed to get a hug and kiss from the wife and kids and off I went.

Just in time to get on the plane. On the walk there in the tunnel a "Tribal person" stopped me and had a issue with my two bags I was carrying and just as I was about to punch him the flight attanded came and took me and escorted me in the plane. So the flight started with a broken seat, broken seat belt and quickly they fixed it. Got to Doha late and had to run to cath the last bus to the airport. I love running but that was madnees...who can explain why a plane that lands have to be 100 miles from the connecting flight? I want to study airport planning and change all that rules.

Ok, landed and got the bike box and saw the fragile stickers was only placed on the box for decorations. They broke the back wheel axle and wheel is bended...ok that sorted out...had to go and stand in that "Border security" line as they asked about the bike and dirt and such and I showed papers that it was serviced and can only bring in 50 cigarettes....eish at least i declared the others and they took it.

The poeple I stayed with was waiting for me and we drove 2 hours home.

Chaper 8

Ok the first day I went to my new employer to introduce myself and get the documentation needed for a bank account and al that.

They gave me the week oof to sort out all my other stuff and get settled in before I start with the work and that I like about them as they are very family orientated.

So gone and did my bank and in 10 min I was finished...I was shocked and walked in to my medicare and 10min later I walked out...It all sounds to good to be true...jip.

With my Tax I filled in the form...said I must go to post office and so I did the next day and was told I must to to the head office...walked in and it looked like no one was there and still it was the Tax head office. Was directed to a computer to complete the online process and...yes 10 min later I was done.

I was and are still shocked by how fast it gets done but then at centrelink...now that is a different story on its own.

They are not very helpfull and does not help you unless you ask the right questions.

Ok week one was done and I had to go to work...They complain I work too fast and to neat...REALLY?????????

Now it was the hunt for a house...now that is a mission and a half....for those with millions in the bank...you don't know what it's like.

looked for a house on anything and everywhere and sa the house from Ray White(They are :censored:!!!!! NEVER EVER use them)...walked in their office and said I saw the board and the guy said he will get the paperwork and I asked if he knows about any other houses in the area, he stopped looked up and said "I only do buying, not renting and that will be the end of our conversation". I wanted to leap over the desk and pull his teeth through his chest....but orange is not my colour.

I left there but remeber a agency nect door was advertising the house in the back and they are "Thomson" Agents....went home, looked online and saw it had the open house the same day. Rushed as I heard there are lost of poeple looking at the same house... I walked in and knew that this house(Where I am sitting now), will be our starting point of our new life. I took the forms and explained to the woman my situation and she understood and just told me to write a kotivational letter why I need the house. Well its 5km from my work, its 500meter from the primary school, 600meter from the rain station, 900meter from the high school and cheap. So I filled in the forms and wrote the letter and the next morning she phoned and said I have the house. Took my last money and paid the bond and had just enough for the first months rent and got the house.

Getting urniture was easier than I thought...a couch set I found on the side of the road...justa vacume cleaner and its good as new. Poeple from everywhere dropped by and handed some free stuff and stuff they do not use. I was dumb struck and did not know what to say or how to thank them all for what they did. Kettles, glasses, got washing machine, tumble dryer, blankets, toys, clothes, beds, sleeper couch, more blankets, kitchen stuff and a loving couple evn bought me a weeks food for the house and a set of 3 bicycles. wall units, TV, fridge and more...I can not believe what was happening. All I know is that I will also help the other new comers with anything I have spare or extra...I know the feeling to start fresh and so will understand their feelings and frustration.

So the house is sorted and I moved in and guess what the power was not on...there is absolutely so service centre over the weekends? Strange that I should be use to that.

I phoned monday morning as the wife will arrive at the night and they said that the main switch was not switched off and they could not connect the power...WHAT THE HELL!!!

They said it was a health and safety risk for the elctricien to switch it off and I must do it. (I still do not understand it) So for the cnnection on monday I have to pay a fine now of $150 as the main power as on...And I should smell that??? First I struggled to get someone to help me get the family at the airport as the taxis and hireing of larger cars was expensive and lucky Jurgen helped with his car and Lizel help wth her car and we got the family here. So its been a frustrating two weeks. That was 2 weeks ago and that is just where the fun starts. Chaper 9 will follow shorty.....

Chapter 9

Ok, now the family is here, after a fearfull first time flight and the small
one running down the plane and steal the first class passengers chocolats and
passing it on to the others in Economy class...Lol...That's my girl.

Arrived at the house and it was raining and cold and I had to go to work the
next day.

We needed to find schools for the kids as they have allready been out of
school for a month now. Found a nice school Kananook for the boy and walked
there over the bridge and had a discussion with the head master and we need a
week to put him in and need the clothes and books and all that...well we have
to wait till payday before that could happen, but the school was good enough to
give second hand clothed for $5 a piece and so he is now in school and is
sorted.

Now I had to sort out the centrelink...got there first alone and was told
that as soon as the family comes, we all must come in...and we went in as was
told that all must be present. The poeple there not very helpfull...to make a
long story short, today it is sorted after the 4th visit there. Tomorrow we
still have to do the Medicare and all the family will be sorted.

So I am taking by bicycle to work everyday and when it rains, I ride faster.
It takes me on the bike 20min to ride and to walk 40 min...so when I want to
slaap later I take the bike and whan I am awake early...I walk to work. The
poeple at the work does not understan why I do it (Walking and riding). They
say that its not natural...well they don't know the freedom they have, but I do
know and getting used to and enjoy it everyday.

So the wife here for the first week was a dark cloud with the rain and cold
everyday that she can not go anywhere and know no one. The eldest one started
to feel the same and I was in the middle of it all and all I can do is say that
it will become better. Met up with Jurgen and Alex here and they have been
great and visited a few times and we will chat till after midnight and that
helped a lot to break the tension. Went last weekend and look at second hand
cars as we willhave to get one soon in order to see the whole town and drive a
bit when the weather wants to keep us closed up at home.

Got to Toyota and the poeple there are just amazing here in Frankston. Chris
helped us and we decided on a 2004 Toyota Rav4 but as luck will have it, we
have no credit references and SA references means nothing...not vene worth the
paper it is printed on. Two days later they phoned and said that I can not get
finance as I need to give more than the $500 deposit I allready gave.(That was
the food money for the month). I said I can give another $10 but apparently my
sense of humour went over their heads...Then they said they will try with
another finace company...then next day the same problem with the larger deposit.
I told him I do not have and asked the guy if he know of another way and he
told me that If I take an older model car that it might work...I told him to do
what he thinks is the best and faster way...he phoned me at 6 at night
yesterday saying that I got approved for a Toyota 2007 Camry and its
red...Don't know how it looks like but it's a car and I can drive it and it
will make the wife happier and make her more mobile. If the wife is happy, then
the house is happy. So yes, I have been filling in more forms and more paper
work and it felt like I am doing my Visa again all over.

They say the paper work will get less and let me tell you all, I can not
wait for that day to come and it will come.

So the rollercoaster is still on full speed and there seems to be no end in
sight, but thise who read this and still not here...do not dispair. It is all
worth it.

Sometimes it feels like you have made a mistake...

Sometimes it feels like everything is too much to handle...

Sometimes it feels like nothing wants to get to an end...

Know one thing, I know how that feel and so does so many poeple. Doing this
is not for everyone...if you are not committed you will fail and life will
swallow you in and spit you out like old gum.

To put it in a better way...If I can do it...then you will survive.

I like your challenging story, I know how you are feeling. I went through this when I first moved to New Zealand when winter was approaching, the weather doesnt help either. All I can say that keep looking forward and it gets better all the time.

Chapter 10

Ok, so now that I have been settling in a bit better then here is the next instalment of my story...

We finally get finance for a car but not the one we applied for, so the finance guy ask what I like and said "A car that can take 5 people".

Well we drive now a Toyota Camry Alltise. Its good and have some mileage on it but it is good enough and wife is now more happy than before as now there is transport for her to go investigate the area while I am at work. So that point is sorted....Phew

Sorry...went offline now I can continue......

Went to Centreline for the 4th time and looks like all is sorted but still no funds had been paid to the account...so will go back tomorrow and find out what is going on.

Some of the things we are only eligible after 2 years and according to what the guy said and our calculations...I will earn more if I sit at home than to be at work...I ask the guy about it and he said that is how it is....mummy.

At work thinks are going on...the one guy tried to manipulate me and tried to pull me out for a shouting contest...hahaha, I have been a manager for over 5 years and know how to play that game...I am the captain of the team.

So he failed and got a warning for trying to start something and I just smiled and nod and watch this little guy (From China) screaming as I do not respect him for following his orders and showing him there is an easier and faster way and better more QA way of doing the job. He did not like t as I heard today that he does that with the new people by teaching them the wrong way so that he can point it out...I do feel sorry for him.

So the manager also tried her luck with me and failed and now she is calm and the company wants me in a supervisor position and train me to be manager before end of the year. I just smile and nod and will believe it when it happens but until then I will not be holding my breath. So the work is boring and after the day is over I did not even feel like I did anything for the day...I need a challenge. I did get AutoCAD and started to design a steel structure to use it as my portfolio so that is also happening during this time.

The company in Klerksdorp has finally send me a mail stating that she will be done test editing my next novel and I will be getting that by the end of June/July, I do hope that will come through soon as the next one is ready for her.

The boy is loving the school here at Kananook Primary and his English is now almost better than mine. Finding a high school for the eldest one is a bit harder that I have thought. Because I live a block away from the street that is Zoned, she can not go to some schools....so long story short she is not in school as yet because the one that is close by stipulate that she must have an Ipad2 as they no longer work on books and such and yes...its a government school and private schools are so expensive and the rumours I have heard from the locals here...lets keep them as rumours.

The baby of the house is giving mom grey hairs and as soon as the eldest is now is school she will be looking for work as she said...she is not house wife material. She is going stir crazy at home everyday and I tell her to enjoy it while she can and while it lasts. So hopefully I will have better news at the end of the next month to share with all you here so that we all can benefit from each other's mistakes and fortunes.

For those who are still with the struggle...keep on fighting and never loose sight of what you need to achieve in order to get the peace and harmony each and everyone deserves.
