The thing we most like about Canberra is ... Floriade.

The annual flower fest topped the list of "Canberra Likes" for the nation's capital's centenary.

ACT Arts Minister Joy Burch said the Like Canberra campaign received almost 14,000 nominations. These were whittled down to a top 100 through 135,000 votes.

“The aim of the ‘Like Canberra’ campaign was to get people talking about what a great city we share, and to ultimately put together a list of the 100 things we like most about Canberra,” Ms Burch said.

"The list includes an amazing variety of people’s favourite places, activities and experiences – a real indication that there is so much to do and see in our city.”
