Shandell Posted March 21, 2007 Report Share Posted March 21, 2007 One of my colleagues in Sydney is desperate as they can not find a suitable candidate.......They are looking for Account Manager - North Sydney based working on a $50million dollar account (so no cold calling)* Minimum 3 years experience in account management within an IT based company* Experience with tender responses and proposal preparation* Experience in IT solution based sellingA leading IT and communications services provider seeks an IT based Account Manager who will report to the Business Development Director. You will be responsible for sales and services negotiations with existing clients.Specifically you will:* Foster and maintain multi-level relationships to maximize new sales and cross selling opportunities* Prepare proposals and respond to tenders* Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and assist with contract negotiations* Ensure client’s needs are understood and communicated appropriately* Assist in the development of strategic technology business plans for the clientTo be successful in this role it is expected that you will have:* Minimum 3 years experience in account management within an IT based company* Experience with tender responses and proposal preparation* Experience in IT solution based selling* Experience in the telecommunications industry sector would be an advantage.
