Annelie Siemens
Some of the churces offer a furniture bank, where you can borrow some stuff until theirs arrive. But I'm sure someone will help you. You can also hire some things.
DebbieB
Thanks. Do you know the name of the churches that have a furniture bank?
Annelie Siemens
The one we go to is the afrikaans church in clarkson. They are called PARC. Cannot find the website now, but if he does a search on google, he should find them.
Gerhardk
Hi,Clarkson church at http://www.parc.org.au/Friends of ours recently arrived with only their luggage and no container on the way. They managed to get most furniture from us, at the dumping site, bulk refuge days, garage sales and gumtree. Second hand goods have very little value here. You can rent a trailer quickly at the local filling station for $25 for half a day.Regards,Gerhard
