Hi there,I am new to this forum and am wanting some advice please.

We are a family of 4 (children 3 and 7 yrs) wanting to settle in WA.

My wife is a hairdresser and I am a Agricultural harvest and labour manager.

We have done some research on Australia and been advised that WA would be the best bet for us as a family.

I would love to hear from people out there who could give us some advice on the settling down process. :)

thank you

Sean

Hi Sean,

Based on your farming profession you are looking at all the towns in the Wheatbelt. This would include Northam, Merredin, Narrogin,Williams etc. They are all small towns and far inland. Unfortunately, with the drought in WA over the past few years, many of the family farms (owned for generations) have been forced to sell to the large multinational companies who have been amalgamating the smaller farms into superfarms. This means that less and less people are required and the towns are shrinking (except where a local mine boosts the population).

Have you already secured a visa or are you looking for sponsorship?

Jordy
