Live In Canberra

Hi all,

With so many new arrivals, I just wanted to give some of you a heads up about a fantastic ACT government initiative called Live In Canberra.

Remember Clyde Rathbone? The young South African rugby player who moved to the Brumbies and also played a couple of Wallabies games too? Well, when he moved, so did his family. Clyde's mom, Glynis, runs the show at Live In Canberra. They organise events on a regular basis for new arrivals to Canberra to help everyone integrate and also get to see some of the attractions around the city. This is NOT a South African thing, but the majority of new arrivals here seem to be ex-Saffers.

We are already on their mailing list, we signed up 2 years ago, but also when you get ACT State Sponsorship they get you to join to help your integration. I do recommend that everyone who is going to ACT join the site it is great.
