Guest EMMA
HiI'm a 30 something year old, my husband a tad bit older and we have two young girls. We have handed in our application in November 2006 (skilled independent) and are now awaiting further instructions from the powers that be in Aus.We live in Middelburg, wonderful town, booming with new houses and businesses, but although we were very reluctant at first to commit to this process, we have decided that we will have to do it for us and the kiddies. Very sad, but life is not always easy and we sometimes have to make difficult decisions. But anyway - here we are.em.
Mara
Hi EmmaCongratulations with your decision, I trust a wonderful life awaits you in Oz! We have been here nearly 10 years and have never looked back!We came from Witbank, how close could you get! I am, of course, presuming that your Middelburg is Tvl and not the Cape? Any idea yet where in Australia you are planning to settle?

Guest EMMA
Thank you everyone for the welcome.Mara - hubby have very specialist job - not a lot of work available - so don't think we will be able to choose. As long as it is a smallish town with little or no traffic jams - I'm okay. Kids are no way near school going age - so that doesn't weigh heavily either. But we take each day as it comes - a lot of hurdles to pass.Regardsemma
Ajay
Welcome Emma! There are a lot of hurdles, you right, but they serve us by giving us time to complete the emotional transition so that when the visas are approved, you are excited and able to veiew them as the valuable gift that they are Good luck and stick around on the forum - you'll meet up with plenty like-minded people here!CheersAjay
Anine
Hi Emma! GroeteAnine
