Brisbane Caravan and Camping show

This is the third year I've been to the Brisbane Caravan and Camping show. I still find it interesting and a worthwhile half day investment.

Firstly let me say upfront I'm not much of a camper, I'll head to the hotel or motel as my first point of call, but this show is great and must be like heaven to campers and caravaners.

It's held each year at the RNA showground at around Queens birthday. The amount of space it takes is huge and there are a lot, and I mean a lot of exhibitors showing their wares.

Exhibits range from the camping store with their 1 man tent to the $350k to of the range motor home. The first year it took me over 4 hours to get round, the last two still took me 3 hours each, and that after knowing what interests me.

One of the buildings has 2 whole floors dedicated to places you can go to. One floor for Queensland and one floor for the rest of Australia. For someone who isn't a camper this gave me lots of ideas and shows how big Australia is.

For $15 per adult (I think children are free) it was well worth it.

I have no doubt there are others like this around the country.

There are quite a few shows like this. The ones I regularly go to are the home show, the tinnie and tackle show and the boat show.
