Juba
Hi, not sure if this post is in the correct section. I recently bought some furniture and now need to collect it from various locations in Perth. I got some prices for trailer and I was shocked to learn that the smallest trailer for a day would cost me almost $80. Does anyone have a trailer that I can rent, would much rather see this money go to an individual rather than a company that has enough money.Or do you perhaps know where I can find a cheaper trailer. Many thanksJuba
Enrica
Welcome to Australia Juba, thats what things cost in this town. That company you got the quote from could also be run by a fellow South African, and you have to realize that even companies are in business to stay in business and that is how they also employ people.I hope that someone can assist you with a trailer.regardsEnrica
zoot
Not sure if you are getting it from shops or from individuals but I know that certain stores will let you borrow a trailer if you have purchased furniture/applicances and need to get it home. CandiceM
You could also try renting a bakkie from the bunnings. I think they cost like $40 for a 1/2 day.
Juba
Hi Everyone, thanks for the replies. Yes I have some stuff that I bought from a store and other stuff is second hand, so all over the place. CandiceM, I think at this point renting a ute might be a better option. I thought $80 for a trailer is a bit much and it does not even include insurance of $16. One can almost buy a trailer for that amount. I saw a brand new trailer, the same size as the one I was looking to rent for $550 excl delivery of $50 and rego, and secondhand trailers are very cheap too. Might go to Bunnings tonight, thanks

Cheers CarlHi Carl, thank you so much for the offer. I sent you a text message and found a trailer just prior to receiving your post, so I already paid for it etc. Thanks again for the kind email and reply, much appreciated. I will pop into Tyreplus over the weekend for something tyre related, so your post was not for nothing. (Oh, and by the way, the trailer I found was $24 or something, I can not believe that there can be such massive price differences????Thanks againJuba
