CONTAINER SPACE AVALIABLE

Hi all

We used Magna Thompson to pack a shared container for us. They came in, packed and left within 3 hours. (Hierdie ouens kan). Problem is: the container is not full and there is about 30% left that can be used. This is enough for about 80 big boxes. If anybody thinks about sharing a container or to fill up this one, please speak to Magna Thompson (Kemptonpark).

On a more serious note, how do they cost out for a shared container, does it go on how much space/boxes you wanna take?

We wont be taking furniture but will want our personal stuff boxed up and sent but wont be a lot at all, how does it work?

Basically a container costs R60 000 for 6 meters. So if you take 1 meter of the 6 you pay R10 000. Look at a meter. not very big, but then you add the height of the container and you have your volume. We took 24 big boxes in our 1 meter.
