Located just off the city, nice place to take a walk and look at green stuff. Pleasant. Take picnic with you as you can eat in the gardens or over the road at the park.

That's one impressive looking structure. Not sure about the tiger stripe tomato it may bite back :blush::)

Excellent photos! Another botanical garden worth a visit is Wittunga Botanical garden on Shepards Hill near Blackwood. Close to a third of all the plants there are South African. Wow! Was I homesick when i saw a Kiepersol Tree (Wa Boom) there!

Thanx for sharing - the gardens look great.

I was so disappointed when I visited Canberras botanical garden - coming from Durbs it was such a let down.
