The dummy could work out what the correct change should be!With a C in English one can only speculate why he doesn't know the difference between racism and parody... Toitjie
I cant believe that Nandos gave in and withdrew the ad. They really do specialise in chickens. NANDOS AD CANNEDI was very disappointed when I heard they are going to withdraw these ads - that is until last night...they aired the ad last night on TV again, starting with saying they are interviewing someone who specifically demanded to be anonymous, and then they interviewed the julius puppet, but with his face blurred, otherwise still the same ad..bravo for nando's - even if that was the last one, I think they got more publicity from this stunt than they ever dreamed - whihc is exactly what they wanted. Gail
Not quite the end....Did you see the new ad? VERY cheeky of them and stupid of us to think Nando's would miss a trick. For those who missed it, the new add has the "dummy"'s face blocked out with a notice underneath that "names and faces have been changed to protect the innocent concerned"LOVL... They still have the same spoken content in the add - and then the Nando's emblem also blocked out at the end. Excellent.VIVA Nando's VIVA. Illuminatus
We are fully aware that the advertisement is intended at mocking the president of the ANCYL, and in a racist fashion portrays political leaders as cartoonsPoliticians,or any other high profile personality, are in the public eye and therefore should be careful of how they portray themselves. Malema had it coming to him. It is widely recognized that people of above average intelligence tend to pick up on the nuances and intention of satire. Malema seems to be way below that then as he and his witless ANCYL cronies immediately play the race card. In this, they fail to understand the fact that if a politician is an idiot, portrays him/herself in a way that shows the reality of their competence, then the public have a right to point the collective finger at the specific individual. Besides, threatening mass boycott of Nandos is a pathetic gesture nd one which, ironically, justifies the very flighting and portrayal in the ad. And KUDOS to Nandos for not backing down. By now, most people have seen the original and subsequent follow up and this in itself, if anything, makes it even more hilariousMalema you stupid twat
Rover
Malema seems to be way below that then as he and his witless ANCYL cronies immediately play the race card.It seems to me that the moment these people (ANCYL in this case) cannot find a fault in the message, they play the race card, how rediculous it may be.The moment they run out of logic, which is often pretty quickly, they start shouting racism, which by now is getting a bit old as they can't seem to progress and move forward. If they could, I would wager there would be a lot less people on this forum.
