Family Fun Day at the Oz-e Wildlife Sanctuary: Saturday 18 April 2009

We’re planning a family fun day at the OZ.e.Wildlife sanctuary.(http://www.ozewildlife.com.au)

Come and experience the Australian native animals up close and personal and get the opportunity to have a catch-up with the other South African/Zim migrants from the area.

BYO BBQ/Bring a plate. Gas BBQ is provided.

Camping chairs or blankets

Admission: (includes free food for the animals)

Location

Located five minutes North of Albury on the Hume Highway.

Time

Join us for a BYO brunch starting from about 10:30, ending in the afternoon (before 17:00).

Attraction Times:

Penguin feeding times: 11:00, 13:00, 15:00

Reptile meet and greet: 12:00

Koala feeding time: 12:30

Normal $10.00

Group Booking (10 or more) $5.00

Children (over 4 yrs)

Normal $5.00

Group Booking (10 or more) $3.50

Children (under 4 yrs) Free

I have arranged for a group discount. Mention at the entrance that you are part of the SA group and you’ll get the discounted rate for the day.

Attraction Times:

Penguin feeding times: 11:00, 13:00, 15:00

Reptiles meet and greet: 12:00

Koala feeding time: 12:30

Hi, I have NO idea! I made contact with him as he is apparently the organizer of events in the Albury / Wodonga area, and that's reasonably close to us. Close enough to support some events and meet fellow ex-South Africans.

I will PM you the email address, then you can write to him and ask?

Great place for a picnic is the Hume Dam and camping in the caravan park. Just not sure how full it is?
