Question

I am heading back to SA to sort some stuff out for my folks for about a month or so - does anyone know if there is a non-contract type pay as you go broadband option.

Hi Zoot

If you have your own 3G modem you can buy a 3G prepaid sim card at www.tsamma.com for R199. For that price you will get a 3G sim card and 100mb data. From there you can top up for 79c per MB. The nice thing about this is also that your airtime never expires and you will be able to use your extra airtime each time you visit SA. The product is supplied by WirelessG who is part of the Vodacom group

Regards

Heinrich
