jo1 Posted March 4, 2009 Report Share Posted March 4, 2009 Marketing Campaign Data Analyst 3-6 month opportunityAbout the Gig:As the Marketing Campaign Data Analyst, your role is divided between the SIMplus and M8 brands Mobile offering.You will be responsible for extraction, manipulation and supply of campaign data to manage retention & migration campaigns. In addition the role requires ad-hoc reporting requirements and analysis to provide insights into the customer bases for business users. You will be recognised as a key ‘power-user’ for all database and analysis software with plenty of opportunity to get your hands dirty with Marketing’s data requirements.Key Aspects of the Role:Replicate in Cognos Impromptu all data extracts for Retention/Migration Campaign activity which will be used for internal and external contact centre channels Use Cognos Impromptu and filtering for the extraction of SIMplus and M8 data to support ongoing calling activity for internal teams and external partiesSupply data in a timely manner (as per agreed calendar) via secure FTP sitesMaintain a quarterly rolling data supply calendar for Retention/Migration CampaignMaintain documentation of changes made to campaign supply (as driven by the Retention Manager/Migration).Ad-hoc data extraction and subsequent analysis to produce customer insights and recommendations for various departments in the businessUse customer data to ‘draw a picture’ to demonstrate trends such as customer behavioural patterns, changes in usage, attrition/loyalty patterns, etcProvide conversion reporting for inbound and outbound leads provided internallyAssist with the delivery of new campaigns, including preparing internal documentation and working with vendors to ensure timely campaign deliveryAssist with managing ad-hoc IT system changes for retention/migration activity Apply “Customer Notes†to the database for marketing campaigns so customer facing users can see activity at a customer levelProviding analytical insights to people from different departments on an ad hoc basisWrap up campaign analysis reportingMajor challenges in this role:Ensuring 100% accurate and timely delivery of essential information for Senior Management meetingsManaging multiple projects and objectives – balancing necessary day to day reporting and campaign list management whilst prioritising longer term project-related research and analysisDesigning reporting frameworks and creating reports from scratch for fellow team membersUsing the customer database to gain insights into the success of campaigns, reasons behind churn / growth, customer behaviour and usage trendsAbout You:Knowledge & Experience RequiredYou must have superb attention to detail and be very accurate in your workMinimum 3-5 years experience in marketing analysis or similar rolesStrong analytical skills, a good understanding of data warehouse extraction methods, data analysis principles and commercial acumenFamiliarity with data analysis software used for marketing purposes including Cognos Impromptu, campaign management of data and advanced skills in using Microsoft Access and Excel.
