Met my wife here, who incidentally also hailed from the PWV area, and we have only ever been in Centurion. Spent some time working in Midrand and Kya Sand the last few years. I should get full points for age, skill and English but don't get any for souse, family etc.In practise it will limit me to work in the sponsor region and delay the permanent visa by 2 years as far as I understand. Het jy geweet dat 'n mens "bonus points" kry as jy by 'n Afrikaanse universiteit geswot het?? Miskien maak jy jou punte so op?? Dalk kan ons bymekaar kom oor 'n koffie en "notes" uitruil. Teen die tyd wat ons almal reg is sal ons 'n private jet kan huur net vir die ouens van Centurion Ek behoort die 5 bonuspunte te kry vir Afrikaans ja (op TUKS geswot van '86 tot '88). My punte tel op na 115 ipv 120. . Nou sal ek, as ek op die SIR, kom self moet skoolgeld en medies betaal. Absoluut geen beswaar teen La Fayette nie. Dalk weet julle klaar maar Adelaide (in Suid-Australië) val in die kategorie van 'regional Australia'. Dis wonderlik, want Adelaide is 'n stad (met 'n groot dorpsgevoel) - en die populasie is ongeveer 1.1 miljoen! (vergelyk met Pta se +- 1.5 miljoen) So daar gaan genoeg aan om dit die moeite werd te maak in terme van werksgeleenthede ens (afhangende van jou beroep). Sover ek weet is dit die 'grootste' stad/dorp wat klassifiseer as 'regional Oz'. Ek weet daar's ook talle ander stunning plekke (reg deur Oz) wat geklassifiseer word as 'regional Australia' - afhangende van wat jy doen in terme van werk sal jy en jou familie julle keuses kan doen.PM (stuur personal message) my gerus indien julle enige info benodig oor Adelaide - ek en my ouers was soontoe (ook Sydney en Melbourne) hierdie jaar op 'n LSD (look, see, decide) trip en ek kan eerlik sê Adelaide is pragtig. Mens het die see - lieflike strande - asook die Barossa Valley (Oz se premier wyn area met pragtige wynplase) op jou voorstoep. Ons is ook deur Suid Aus ' ge-sponsor', maar na ons LSD in Desember 2005 was dit ons eerste keuse in elk geval, so dit was 'n bonus gewees, net vir ons makliker gemaak om ons Visa binne 4 maande te kry, van aansoek tot goedkeuring. En soos sy gesê het is ons STERK oppad Oz toe, alhoewel ons nog hier in Centurion bly. Ek het seker 3 weke lank aan my RPL dokument gewerk vir die ACS goedkeuring. Dit was op die ou end nogal 'n dik dokument van so 90 bladsye. Ek het ook van 1990 tot 1997 by tukkies geswot. So Jaco, as daar iets is wat jy wil vra, vra gerus. Soms voel dit vir ons of ons nog nêrens heengaan nie omdat alles so stadig gebeur...maar ons kan ook nie wag om uiteindelik die ACS goedkeuring te kry nie. Dit sal vir ons baie punte beteken vir die 136 VISA. Maar intussen werk en bly ons maar nog hier in Centurion, al is ons harte amper al klaar in Australie. Ons ken ook ander families wat eers hier in Centurion gebly het, wat nou daar in Oz is. Maar ek is seker dat daar geen probleme gaan wees nie, maar sover as wat ek al gesien het vat dit gewoonlik so 3 maande vir hulle on 'n uitslag the lewer.Sterkte met die naals kou en wag.
