Thanks to all of you who have confirmed that you can make it to the SAAus gathering at Kirstenbosch. I think it is going to be a wonderful event!

Where is our organizer..? Karina? Are you there?

Let's see if we can get a few more Capetonians to join us in this last event for 2008. We can't allow Durban to 'beat' us in numbers! LOL!

Looking forward to more confirmations from forumites in Cape Town.

I'm still here, its not like I'm going to leave the country :angry: . I'm getting very excited, seems like it is going to be a big bash. Sorry if I'm a bit quiet, just a bit buried under marking, but will be sociable soon.

The preliminary list is according to response to this thread. I might get it a bit wrong, so just correct me.

I did not distinguish between children and addults.

Andi: 2 maybe 3

KarinaPer: 5

Terence: 1 + ? + (Mr Bean and teddy)

Firstworldgirl: 3

Fern: 2

SandraDee: 1+?

tennantrodney: 2

Christene: 2

Zack: 4+?

Miran: 4

KMG: 4

CTFamily: 4

We are looking at 31+. I say no more. :angry:

The venue is absolutely perfect for the whole family! Bring your picnic blankets, your koeksisters and other lekka food, and come meet the rest of the Cpt expat gang from AsAus! Terence hit the nail on the head when he said we never know when we may need each other once in Aus, so lets build those bridges of support now - to last throughout our wonderful journey thru emigration and beyond!

Confirmed with hubby - fam only arriving the next day - so we'll be 2 adults and a 4 year old and almost 1 year old. And I don't think a cage is such a bad idea......hie hie. Might bring friends also going with? Will that be ok?
