The town centre is closed for traffic and a variety of stalls and free activities are set up, including bouncy castles, a bucking bull, miniature train rides and face painting for the kids, local solo artists and bands, fashion parades, log chopping, farmers markets, a wine tasting tent and the all-important cherry pip spitting contest. The grand final winner will be sent to compete at the Australasian Competition in New Zealand. mmmmmmmmmmmmmm don't quite know what to say here, except we might actually go!um...there is a video http://cherryfestival.blogspot.com/Anyone else going?
