polly Posted November 5, 2008 Author Report Share Posted November 5, 2008 It reminds of of once when my dad tried to figure out why the car's battery kept on going flat. He guessed that the light in the boot wasn't switching off, but he needed someone inside to see if it was still on when the boot was closed. LUCKILY my sister and I were in school that morning or we would have had to get in. He got a guy off the street and offered to pay him to get in. Of COURSE the guy refused (nuts? ). So my dad said he would get in, but the guy had to open the boot for him so he could get out again. He gets in, the boot closes and the car alarm goes off. The poor guy runs for his life and my dad is stuck in the boot on the front lawn with the house wide open. He managed to get himself out about 10 minutes before we got home from school Oh, and it was the light.
