I pray that God's will be done, as diffiuclt as it is to always understand or accept why things happen the way they do, and that you are filled with His peace, whatever the outcome. I am praying very hard for the same thing, that God grants me the serenity to accept what we are going through, to understand that He has a perfect plan, and that the timing of things will be revealed as His perfect timing! He is opening doors and giving us much needed rest at the moment. We have accepted another offer on the house and will have information in a week or so. We ask for prayers that this goes through, we are very tigt financially and are battling to work out a budget with so many unknowns. Please pray for God's guidance in our financial matters, we believe He brought us here for a reason and has guided our path to now. We just need the strength to continue to trust and obey and listen for His voice and guidance. Just hang in there and never give up!I don’t even have any offers yet and have dropped my house price nearly 25%. I need something to happen this week....i need a miracle. But i believe God will help me through this as the sale of the house is the most difficult part for me of this whole immigration process. Everything else went so smoothly but no i feel i'm at a dead end. We applied for the visa the 12th of October and has now learned that they have a problem with our oldest daughter's medicals. She is using growth hormone since the age of 4 due to complications with meningitis at the age of 2. The immigration department has basically said that they will refuse her medicals unless my employer would be willing to guarantee an amount of $60 000. I have written to them explaining that we will not access Australian funds or resources (we are on a 457) and that we will pay privately for the medication like we are currently doing in SA. They replied and asked us to go again to the panel doctor and get another report from her specialist. We have an appointment for the 12th of December, and then it will be send off to Sydney. I am suppose to start the 2nd of Jan, but I don't think that will happen so soon.Can you guys please pray for us - I had to resign from my current position because they needed to get someone in my place. So, on top of everything I sit without a job the end of December. So, Australia has to come through for us! In the mean time I started applying for other jobs and went to two interviews, but without any success!!!So, please pray for our situation. I am really prepared to stay in SA if that is God's will - it just feels as if God has opened doors for us in Aus, and this whole situation is just so confusing and the waiting is really terrible.Please pray for strength, calmness, peace and hope...and that God's will be done!! We have hit a financial wall here in Australia and are in a tough situation, requiring a car to get to work with more than we have needed as a deposit for the car. We have managed to secure finance but after they said that the deposit we can afford will be enough they have come back and said they need more and we just don't have it and everyone else we approach say they won't be able to finance it. I need a car by Monday and we are $800 short on the deposit. We know God is in control and commands all the finance in the world we are asking Him to guide us regarding this. We believe He sent us here in His time and we are trusting in His provision. We also need this money for our flights, etc.This deal has been dragged out since 27 Oct when we signed with the estate agent. She is married and has two small children, her husband abuses her and this was going to be her escape..she has now found out that she is pregnant..and the student visa cant be granted, she has no job, no money, and he refuses to help her out, said she should go for an abortion as he doesnt want the baby...my poor girl is only 20, has made so many mistakes with this man, and all she wants to do is leave him...I send her half my salary every month to pay the rent and electricity.I pray to God every single day that she will get the strength to carry on and look after her little family, but I need a bit of help, so will be so grateful for your prayers.Thank you, and may God Bless you all. Markus&Susan Posted December 16, 2008 Report Share Posted December 16, 2008 Hello all,We managed to get the car yesterday, God amazingly answered prayers and sent us the cash we needed and a little extra, we had to put our pride in our pocket and speak to family members about loans, which were given willingly and more than we asked for and with longer pay-back times than we would have had if we went to formal loans. There may be another two offers on the house, I am so tired of accepting deals and then they crash. But I do believe God will provide the right deal at the right time and that we will sell when He want us to. We were so happy in the house and just want it to go to people whom God will also bless and allow to grow in Him. Lyall you put verything in perpective, your daughter and her children and new pregnancy are in our prayers as are you, this must be tough on you as well being so far from her. I will pray for you all and I know God answers prayers. Is there no way to bring her over by showing she is dependant on you? We will pray for an answer to her situation and protection from her husband. Eva, it is great when you are given peace and I thank God for the peace he has given to you, He has also given me peace this week as I started work and it has been great so far. I will pray for the sale of your house, it is not nice being here so far away and the house sitting there unoccupied with sales falling through and deciding wether to accept new ones or not. I don't wish it on anyone. God has answered a great number of our prayers over the last little while, some we are waiting to see His answer on. He is such a gracious God and blesses us when we don't even understand or realize. I continue to pray for all the prayer requests and wait to see how He answers the prayers both in our lives and in the lives of the other posts. We are starting to hunt for a rental this week and we know He will go ahead of us, already has. Still waiting for the bank, etc. In the mean time, the first buyer, who had problems selling his place, got a cash deal, so we'll see which one comes through first.But still trusting God that all will be settled shortly.Keep the faith!
