ACCOUNTANTS ON THE GOLD COAST

Hi

I arrived in the Gold coast about a month ago and am I am looking for an accountant position.I have a B com acconting and B Com Financial management Hons degrees. My degrees have been acreddited as the equivalent to CPA.

I have 17 years experience as General manager finance.

The only work seems to be in Brisbane part time for a month or two.I have a child that can only stay in after care till 6pm.Thus I cannot work that far from home(Gold coast).

Any oppertunities will be much appreciated as my savings are running out.

In Sydney but suggestion; go to the CPA and CA websites. They both have 'Find a CA / CPA' functions. Search the areas where you want to work and contact those firms. Most accounting firms are always looking for staff, Sydney definately but can't believe it will be diffirenct on the Gold Coast.
