North Lakes State College

Hi

We are moving to Brisbane end September/early October, all depending on the visa. :whome:

We have been looking at the areas around Brisbane, and we really like North Lakes. There is also a school, from Kindy to Gr. 12, which is exactly what we are looking for. Our 2 boys, gr. 3 and gr. 7, has been in the same school forever, and because the eldest will most likely go to gr. 8, we would like to have them in the same school. It will make the adjusment much easier for the little brother.

Anyone know this school? I would love to get some more info. The website looks good, but it doesn't say everything we want to know.

How good is transport from Norht Lakes to the CBD. Hubby wil travel by train, and we would like to know which routes would be best for him.

Hi,

Kyk bietjie hier http://www.saaustralia.org/index.php?showtopic=16232

Groete

Hi

Don't know if this reply is too late.If not, here is some advice. North Lakes is a great place to live and the State College has a really good reputation. Many people that we know drive to Petrie or Bald Hills station to commute. Public transport here is pretty good and more busses are coming out this way as the suburb grows.

PM me if you want some more info.

Cheers and good luck

We arrived in Brisbane in July and settled in North Lakes. Our kids are 7 and 8 and go to North Lakes State College and I am very happy with it. The kids love it, prefer it to their school back in SA. Because of their age and the fact that we started them at school the year they turned 7 they had to go up a grade and the teachers have been great in assessing them and helping them get up to date.
