Ons wil eintlik eers begin werk soek as ons klaar PR het.Don aand gaan ons 'n seminaar tipe ding bywoon waar die Canberrans hierheen kom om mense te werf, so ons hoop ons kom daar reg of kry meer inligting waar ons kan regkom met werk. Ons wag nou net op die flinke staatsdepartemente van binnelandse sake en die polisie vir al ons sertifikate en klein Charlize se paspoort. I cant wait to know what that feels like.Smitte, did I read correctly that you guys have a CO ? We logdged 28 Nov, couple days after you and this living in "limboland " is driving me up the wall. If hubby not in Canberra end May early June job offer falls through. Attending the "live in Canberra" seminar in Umhlanga today. Not to bad for a Vrystater, of wat se ek?I'm getting so exited I can't hardly hold my horses!!Does anyone lknow of someone who might be interested in buying my .22 rifle or my 30-06 Tikka hunting rifle? Ready2go Posted May 7, 2008 Report Share Posted May 7, 2008 Hi guys,Went to the Live in Canberra talk. Mostly on employment and sponsored visa opportunities etc. Tiny bit on housing and schooling. Thats the part I was interested in, but didnt learn much. If you are doing this move for your children - I believe you are doing the right thing.Any hairdressers out there, hear it takes about 6 weeks to get a hair appointment. Ha Ha. Is this true ?Cant say I learnt very much - if you have the Live in Canberra folder they post, its all there. When I phoned - Ill give anything a try at this stage - have to remain positive, voice recording said something like 12000 apps received per day !!!! Thats a huge pile to get thru.Cheers. Canberra really sounds like the place to be due to the safety and activities that you can do there!!! There were also a lady, recruiting people. Dis die lekkerste plek in Oz. En as jy eers hier gebly het, dan sal jy nie sommer wil trek nie.Se julle koebaai's en kry klaar, volgende besoek is om vaarwel te se. Maar soos in my geval, 2 jaar reeds hier op 'n 457 en wil nie eers teruggaan om te gaan vaarwel se voor ek 'n paspoort het nie.Sien julle hier.
