Ons kyk na areas om in te bly en op die oomblik is dit die weste vs die ooste. Ons hou van Sanctuary Lakes (wes) en Berwick (oos). My man se werk is omtrent in die middel tussen die 2. Wat is die beter keuse tussen die 2 om te bly in terme van skole, misdaad, gemeenskap, infrastruktuur ens. Ons her 2 seuntjie 3jr en 5 jr. matman Posted April 6, 2008 Report Share Posted April 6, 2008 (edited) My brother-in-law is coming over in May and they did an LSD 6mnths ago and they have decided on Berwick.Good schools in the area, very nice area, can be expensive to rent/buy.All amenties close by - access to railway, major shopping centres, access to motorway to get to city.You dont say exacly where your husband is working except half way. This makes a big difference from a travel & traffic perspective. Is he on the West side of the city or East side because actually getting to work could be difficult if you settle in the wrong place.Like Oubossies suggested - why dont you get over here and rent shortterm accomodation or stay in a hote;/apartment for a few weeks, so that your husband can drive the route from Sanctuary and Berwick to work and then decide where you want to finally rent/buy.I would recommend Berwick. Sanctuary Lakes not a bad place either - new up and coming area on the West side, but does have probably an unfair reputation. Probably cheaper to rent/buy there than in Berwick.RgdsMatmanp.s. Eerste prys sal ek dadelik in die area wil wees waar ons gaan bly want my oudste sal moet skool toe en ek wil hom nie 2 keer skuif nie. Hier is baie Shopping centres en goeie skole. Ons bly in een van die estates met pragtige parke en mere, en ons huur is laag. Daar is 'n paar Suid-Afrikaners in die area.
