My wife (Tracey) and I (Grant) made our decision to immigrate to Perth at the end of December after we came back for our LSD trip to perth in november/december 2007. We have chosen to use a registered migration consultant whom specialises in South African immigration to Oz and is based in Perth. My wife is a registered doctor and currently specialising in Aneasthetics. However because i have a CISSP (ceritifed information systems security professional) certification our migration consultant suggested that it would be easier and cheaper to use my qualification under a skilled independent visa (under MODL code 2231-79 - Computing Professional - specialising in CISSP). Thus to date i have completed the RPL documentation required for the ACS (Australian computer society) approval and am awaiting for my papers to arrive at the consultants offices, from there it will be submitted to ACS. The RPL is a real beast and has taken me several weeks to compile and gather all the evidence for. it clocks in at 52 pages and 17000 words.
