Annette
Vaughn, there are very good opportunities in the construction industry at the moment here in Adelaide, but I know Brisbane seems good as well. My husband is an architect and the city is experiencing a major building boom at the moment. He has had no problem finding good employment, after securing several interviews just after arriving (no luck before, they want you to be settled and ready to start work) but has to retrain and sit the exams to register of course... He has been offered jobs in Brisbane based on interviews for jobs here, so I assume the situation must be good there as well. I don't know what the accreditation procedures are for project managers, but I can tell you that there are plenty of adverts in the jobs section of the paper for them and the salaries are VERY good Makes me wish hubby would pursue that avenue ...
