Hi All My in-laws are coming to visit later this year and have recently gone through the process of applying for visitor visas in Johannesburg. This includes the biometric data capturing at TLS contact offices in Sandton. They have been to Australia several times on tourist visas and I was hoping the process would be getting easier. I have heard a lot of complaining from my mother in law about the process being much more difficult and expensive. Hi All My father has been in Australia living with me for the last 2 years on a class C bridging visa while awaiting his parental visa. Recently he needed to go back to SA for my sister’s wedding. This was only supposed to be a short visit and we cleared it with our immigration agent so we thought it was not going to be a big issue. Starting to stress - still no word on Visitor visa application

Hi all, I am really starting to stress about whether we will get our visas in time for our LSD. We thought we applied early (applied 20 Nov), and they told us there would be a wait of about 20 working days, which including the 16 Dec holiday, would put us at about 19 Dec. We still haven't heard anything. Nada. Zip. Surely we should have received some kind of confirmation mail or something by now? I have emailed the address supplied on the VFS site - again, no response. Not really keen to call the numbers they have as they charge extra but I guess that's my next step. Am I right to be concerned -
Visitor/Tourist visa - confused - please help

Hi all, My hubby and I are going to apply for our tourist visa tomorrow afternoon in Rosebank. I am confused as to how/when we pay. I get that there is no cash, and we need to pay the VFS fee beforehand - but what do they mean when they say we need the "original" proof of payment for that? And how do we pay the actual visa fee??? They say by credit card but when/where does this happen?do they just take it off using the details on the application, or do we have to do something else here? Sorry but we are short on leave and I don't want to have to try take another day if we mess this up tomorrow
