Blatant Ad for Melbourne Picnic in the Park - Event, Social, Melbourne
RedPanda posted a topic in Melbourne, VIC
If you live in the Melbourne area and you haven't seen the event, go to "Events" "Victoria" Melbourne Picnic in the Park and see if you are interested in meeting other Melbournians in this relaxed social setting. It's a great opportunity to ask questions about suburbs, schools, grocery stores, public transport, banking....everything that other people might have done while settling in. Oh, and it's a picnic, so it should be fun -
Hi, to all Melbournians on the forum, old and new, I would like to invite you to a social picnic in a park. It's getting to that time of year when everyone starts looking forward to summer, and I have been told by many a person that Melbourne summer starts in November, so lets get together and figure out the Aussie barbie! Currently Saturday the 5th November looks good, with Albert Park as a venue. If you would like to come but can't make the date, suggest an alternative, and let's see what suits most people. This will be a good opportunity to meet fellow expats in Melbourne, get some

Hi everyone, this is my first post since arriving in Perth last October. I wanted to find out if anyone knew somewhere that will be showing the Springboks vs World VX game next Saturday (7th June)? I see Channel 10 is showing all the Aus games and TRC but I dont have Foxtel and want to catch the Bok incoming tour. That, and I love watching the rugga at a pub sporting my overly-tight bok shirt:-) Cheers C

Hey guys. I am going to be starting a social golf club and checking to see if there is any interest here. Basically getting together to play a game of golf once a month, at a different courses across Perth. Having a drink afterwards and socializing a bit. Might even do a year end function like a weekend away golf thing.

Hi all, It's been a long time since I visited the forum. How are you all? Life in Canberra is fabulous and we're now getting into our 6th year in Aus. Now I know that most of the people on this forum have kids - sorry, this post isn't for you. This post is for the few of us who, by choice, don't have/want kids. Mr Mupersan & I would love to meet other couples (or singles) who are child free by choice. I've started a fb group, so please join and as soon as we have a few members, I'll organise an event - drinks/coffee/bbq/dinner. Link to the fb group Child Free By Choice - Canberra:
