  1. Dear Forum Members I am hoping someone can help me out with some Vetassess questions. I am applying under the Environmental Research Scientist occupation. 1. I have a PhD degree (awarded in 2019) and a Masters degree (awarded in 2008). I have obviously included my degree certificates and transcripts for my postgraduate degrees on Vetassess. What is the requirement regarding listing undergraduate degrees if this is clear on the transcript I have submitted. The reason I am asking this question is because I have misplaced my actual certificates for my undergraduate degrees
  2. Good day, After waiting for 4 months with my 189 application I have received an email from a CO requesting further evidence of remuneration. They stated that they needed payslips for a 2 year period that I worked for a specific company. I unfortunately cold only put together 5 months worth of payslips and have been unable to obtain the rest. They also requested Provident Fund Statement, of which I never had an account in that period. Could anyone assist with any suggestions of what I should do. Is there any additional documents I can add as further evidence of remunerat

    New and asking

Good day all. Firstly thank you for accepting us here, now down to business, we have been looking at going to Australia for the last year or so but now we are at the point where we really want to go. The problem we have is that we do not have the money to acquire the services of an immigration agency or to pre apply for visas (as I am currently unemployed). I have been reading through some of the topics regarding sponsored work offers. I have been applying for a few positions the last few days but I am not sure how to see if a company does offer a sponsorship or not. A question I h
  4. The attached jpeg file is a scan from The Australian and shows the regions in Australia with the most rapid growth rates in jobs over the last 17 years. The top 20 are based around the major cities. I thought some here may find this interesting. These are indeed only the top 20 but it is interesting to note that Sydney regions don't feature as often as expected with only 2 of the top 20. Melbourne's presence is however impressive, with several regions showing high growth rates and off relatively big bases. @Mara does then admittedly appear to have a good point about jobs and employ

  6. Hi everyone. I've got a question on proving part time employment if the individual was not registered with SARS - how do you prove employment over and above a reference and payment advice (like payslips)? Does anybody have any idea? H

    How soon is too soon?

How soon is too soon to apply for jobs? I am planning to land in Australia mid January next year, and while I'm aware that getting a job from SA is difficult, I'd obviously like to give it my best shot. I've been working on my LinkedIn profile, and have been building my LinkedIn network for a couple of months now (and am following RYLC's thread http://www.saaustralia.org/index.php/topic/45577-using-linkedin-to-improve-aussie-career-opportunities/). I've seen various positions advertised, but is it too soon to apply if I'm only going to be available from February? Any input appreciated. dogg
