Does B.Ed in Foundation Phase teaching qualify?

Hi everyone I hold a B.Ed in foundation phase teaching. The degree covers Gr R to Gr 3 (ages 5-9). Primary school teachers are NOT on the Skilled Occupation List, but Early Childhood teachers are. As far as I know Early Childhood in Australia refers to teaching children who are up to 8years old. So does that mean I qualify as an Early Childhood teacher for Visa purposes? My second question is whether my experience teaching in a Grade 2 class (age 7-8) would count as early childhood experience. Please help! -

I have been looking at the AITSL papers which show a change in the requirements for a pre-school teacher assessment. It seems that they now need proof of practicals during study across the ages birth to 8. This change was effective form 22 Aprill 2016. I have 650 hours of practical teaching but i do not recall working with the 0-2 year range. does anyone know if it is just a matter of getting practical practice now with a letter proving it or is more needed. I was at Barkly house and then Cape town college of Education and I am sure we covered the theory. Any ideas or experience regardin

Hi everyone, Is there anyone out there who can assist me with a decent example of a skilled employment letter for an early childhood development teacher? My sister-in-law needs to submit to AITSL soon and needs to get all her letters in order to proof her teaching experience. I would appreciate your urgent assistance!
