Engeland sorg baie goed vir ons, maar ons wou dit nog altyd uit probeer in Australië. Ek is ‘n hoërskool onderwyser wat spesialiseer in Liggaamlike Opvoeding en Ontwerp en Tegnologie. My kwalifikasies is reeds goedgekeur deur ‘n maatskappy/owerheid in Australië, NOOSR. Ons het egter aangehang met die aansoek omdat ons so drie maande gelede die trotse ouers van ‘n babaseuntjie geword het.My vrou, Annelize is ook ‘n gekwalifiseerde onderwyser en het hier in Engeland by ‘n privaat skool se “reception” afdeling gewerk met die 2 -3 jariges.Enige inligting oor veral onderwysposte, salarisse en die lewenstyl wat ‘n mens kan handhaaf op ‘n onderwyssalaris in veral Suid Australië sal baie waardeer word.Groete uit die Noorde,Johan Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

As jy werk kry by een van die skole behoort jou salaris (afhangende van jare ondervinding) plus minus $60,000 of meer per jaar te wees. Dit is genoeg om van te lewe in Suid Australie, maar as jou vrou ook werk sal julle goed lewe en selfs kan spaar. Ek neem nie enige skuld aankope in ag nie en aanvaar julle begin skoon in Australie. Jy sal maklik werk kry want LO Onderwysers en Tegniese / IT Onderwysers is hoog in aanvraag. Daar is gereeld poste in die platteland waar ons is weens tekorte en baie skole stel jou permanent aan van die begin af en party bied ook ekstra voordele ens. Doen direk aansoek by skole. Poste word gelys op www.teachers.net Die beste tyd vir werk is Augustus elke jaar om die volgende jaar te begin. Dax Posted January 31, 2007 Report Share Posted January 31, 2007 I will chase up more links and info pertaing to the State Schools here in South Oz.The registration process as a Teacher here in South Oz is whole rigmarole.There is a bit of a snag in this sense that one cannor be eregistered unless you attended a Mandatory Reporting (Child Protection) course of one day.One obviously have to be physically HERE todo it.I'll try to find out if there are any exeptions for applicants from overseas, e.g. a provisional registration stating that you may teach providing you attend a MR course months.Cheers,Dax Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Gelukkig nie London - ons is maar maplasies! Baie geluk met die kleinman. Vraag: Gaan julle die volle geboortesertifikaat vd UK gebruik, of moet mens die volle een v SA af kry?Ek het v verskillende mense gehoor dat die UK een reg is, al is ons nog SA Burgers, maar gaan Oz toe maak en net heeltemal seker maak.Sterkte met alles, ek stuur later 'n pm. Ons verlang na vyf jaar nog steeds baie huistoe, maar daar is op die huidige stadium nie werklik vir ons 'n toekoms daar nie.Ek is nie heeltemal seker oor die geboortesertifikaat nie, maar die maatskappy deur wie ons werk het gese dat hulle dit alles sal uitsorteer.Ons het 'n kontak in RSA wat glo blits vinnig is met paspoorte so ons hoop kleinman se paspoort sal een van die dae hier wees.Praat later weer.Johan Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

We have obviously done child safety courses, first aid, Qualified Teachers Status, literacy, numeracy, ICT and loads more courses here in London when we first started out, so I don't know if that will count for anything.In regards to your other post, I am part of Senior Management in my current school.It is a secondary school for boys with behaviour problems. I am part of the management team that deals with behaviour and disciplinary issues. Bianca S Posted February 3, 2007 Report Share Posted February 3, 2007 goeie mooore Johan, Annelize and Mitch Funny weather here in Lancashire, was warm yesterday, like Spring, then cold last night (not normally this big difference in temp's here), now foggy this morning! Haven't seen a lot of fog this winter. Daffodils almost flowering! Anyway, do you also know a lot of Brits emigrating? There seems te be areal surge in the emigration numbers of people believing the island is sinking (which I think it is if they don't change policies).Quite a few Saffer friends went back to SA, just to start with their visas for Oz after a few months. If you've been out of SA for a few years, you just can't adapt. Things have changed, and you also changed your way of life - more freedom and not looking over your shoulder. They say when back in SA, they miss the 'just' going for a drive wherever and whenever they want, stopping and walking where-ever they like. We love cycling, and here you can stop for a picnic at any spot, as long as you leave things the way you found it. If we leave for Oz, there are many positive memories we will take with us, England has been, and still is, good to us.Hope you have a good weekend.
