jo1 Posted April 28, 2009 Report Share Posted April 28, 2009 Hi Martin, For permanent relocation or just LSD/visit ?Darling harbour/Paddington is quite nice areas and close to the city, Eastern suburbs more expensive, Nothern beaches, Balmoral, cammeray, St Ives are all quite nice areas and public transport is very good. carl_sydney Posted April 29, 2009 Report Share Posted April 29, 2009 When we arrived in Sydney we stayed at the North Shore Hotel. It was quite affordable, very central and good quality.An even cheaper option is Boardriders backpackers in Manly. The accommodation is very basic but located100m from the beach.
