PieterK Posted January 17, 2009 Report Share Posted January 17, 2009 I am applying to ACT for state sponsorship for a 176 visa, and I am supposed to demonstrate commitment to working and living in the state for 2 years. AndreaL Posted January 18, 2009 Report Share Posted January 18, 2009 Hi Pieter KRead through this thread State sponsorship refusedThis highlights how a forum member was initially rejected regional sponsorship for " minimal research" of state and not demonstrating " genuine interest and commitment " to state.They then re-submitted with better research and got the sponsorship.I think with the increased number of state sponsorship applicants there will become a greater need to prove your research and commitment.
