A very low round of invites was made this month. Our understanding is that due to COVID-19 only selected occupations (e.g. critical) received Invitations. 189 Visa Invites: 170 x 189 visa invitations were issued. The points score for 189 occupations not on the ProRata table was 85+. The EOI cut off date (deeming date) for those with only 85 points was Feb 2020. 491(FS) Visa Invites: 30 x 491 visa invitations were issued. The points score for all occupations not on the ProRata table was 70+. The EOI cut off date (deeming date) for those with only 70 points was April 2020. ProRata Occupations - some occupations within 'Other Engineering professionals with 95+ points were invited to apply for a 189 or 491 visa. Our understanding is that due to COVID-19 only selected occupations (e.g. critical) received Invitations. 189 Visa Invites: 550 x 189 visa invitations were issued. The points score for 189 occupations not on the ProRata table was 85+. The EOI cut off date (deeming date) for those with only 85 points was Dec 2019. 491(FS) Visa Invites: 30 x 491 visa invitations were issued. The points score for all occupations not on the ProRata table was 70+. The EOI cut off date (deeming date) for those with only 70 points was March 2020. ProRata Occupations -no Pro-Rata occupations were invited to apply for a 189 or 491 visa. The 491 is a Regional Provisional visa, if aiming for PR please research and ensure you are comfortable with the pathway to PR.
