Review of Skilled Migration Occupation Lists

Each year the Department of Employment, Skills, Small and Family Business conducts a review of the occupations on the skilled occupation lists. 

Note that the list is a currently draft for consultation purposes only.  This does not represent a decision has been made at this stage by Government.

 

Skilled Migration Lists Review: Traffic Light Bulletin Consultation (December 2019 – February 2020)
The Department of Employment, Skills, Small and Family Business is responsible for undertaking regular reviews of the Short-term Skilled Occupation List (STSOL), the Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL) and the Regional Occupation List (ROL). These occupation lists are used for skilled migration to meet short and medium/long term needs for the Australian economy.

The link provides the list of occupations in the Traffic Light Bulletin that are under consideration for a proposed change in their status on the STSOL, MLTSSL and ROL.

Occupations being considered for addition

Corporate Treasurer
Aged or Disabled Carer  
Nursing Support Worker
Personal Care Assistant
