CurlyT
Hi All, The husband has finally gotten a good result on the IELTS test. We are now ready to proceed. He has to do a technical interview/skills assessment to have his qualification recognised by the relevant assessing authority. At this point we fell down the rabbit hole trying to the find the right one - TRA, VETASSESS and OSAP?? We are still not sure what the correct authority is for a fitter and turner. Can anyone provide some more insight as to which assessing authority we need to contact. Also - what types of questions can he expect? Where does the interview take place? Any and all information will be welcome Edited August 12, 2019 by CurlyT
TeeTMI
The TRA is the overarching skills assessment authority for this trade, however for some occupations including this one the skills assessment itself is undertaken by an RTO (such as Vetassess). I would suggest looking at the RTO requirements to begin with.
