TamTam Posted March 29, 2019 Report Share Posted March 29, 2019 Hi all This is a little piece of advice I would like to share about delaying your move to Australia if you have the 5 year travel facility for PR. I only arrived in Aus a few months before my 5 years expired and as a result I was not eligible for the immediate issuing of a resident return visa - for that you need to live here for two years. As a result I was not with my mom when she fell ill, I was not with her when she died and I was not able to attend her funeral as the powers that be were not able/willing to expedite my RRV despite proving I was here to stay.
