HappyIsland
I moved to Ireland 1 month before I applied for the 190 visa application. I have a police clearance for South Africa which I submitted together with my 190 application when I applied 1 month ago. All documents were front loaded. Should I get a police clearance for Ireland too, or will DIBP be ok with my SA Police clearance given that I've only been here for 3 months as of the current date? TeeTMI
For the police clearances the date that is relevant is the date that the decision whether to grant the visa is made. Therefore, what is more relevant is including any additional time you may have spent in Ireland prior to this 3 months, plus the length of the processing time and whether the cumulative total becomes >12 months during this period.
