I generally would say that the files don't get looked at again before that given time elapses, but I don't think they go to the BACK of the queue. It probably also depends on how busy your particular CO is. I recall @AdriaanSanta was contacted really soon after visa application submission but waited really long thereafter whereas my wait was long before CO contact. So the waiting game continues..... @Anusha Yes, @TamTam is more or less correct. We had our CO contact about a month and a half after our judgment, that was 7 Aug last year. You have 28 business days to respond to the request and in all likely-hood, and it has been mentioned in a few threads, only after the 28 days expired will you application be looked at again. It is however not guaranteed but ,I think no one really knows what happens in the Visa office. We responded to the request on the 1st of Sept and only heard from them again when we got our Grant. That was on the 1st of April, 8 months later. However, my application had a PCC for Botswana as well, who knows how long it took them to verify that with the Botswana government. We are looking at three areas in NSW (Albury, Wagga Wagga and Coffs Harbour) leaning towards Albury as the rent and cost of living is cheaper than the other two.
