EngineerZA
Hi All, I have a quick question if you don't mind I have received varied answers from moving companies and need some advice please: I have a Gedore spanner set which I'm putting in my container, to ship to Aus and the box has a scratch on that has some light rust. Would customs complain about this? (Picture below) Thanks! Regards, EngineerZA
ChrisH
Nah I doubt it. If you're really worried about it just sand it and paint over it.
greggle
I was advised that they dont like rust and so made sure that all my items with small spots of rust were painted and well cleaned inside and out.

EngineerZA
Sanded the rust off, and gave it a new coat of paint. No problems with the quarantine inspection.
