TeeTMI Posted January 11, 2018 Report Share Posted January 11, 2018 SkillSelect Invites for the 20th December 2017 Skilled Independent Visas (189) Invitations Update As expected the points score required to obtain an invitation to apply for a SC189 Skilled Independent Visa remains high. On the 20th December 2017, would be applicants required at least 75+ points (deeming date 13/12/2017) to receive an invitation to apply for a189 visa. http://www.taylormadeimmigration.com/DaystoInvite This relates to a number of factors impacting on this category of visa at the current time. It will be interesting to see how this develops over the coming months. This development has seen a lower overall percentage of the available places going to the occupations invited on a ProRata basis. Points score for PorRata occupations in attached table, Accountants currently requiring 80 (source DHA) and above link.
