Tntaglia Posted November 8, 2017 Report Share Posted November 8, 2017 I'm sure there are a few of us forumites still waiting for invites after lodging 189/190 (or other) expressions of interest - I'd like to keep track of all the open cases in one spot so we can cheer each other on. Who else is waiting for invites? We lodged 189/190 EOI on 25 October, and received an invite to apply for NSW state sponsorship for 190 on 3 November. We submitted EOI first and thereafter put in the SS as we had to specify SA as our requested state. Was I supposed to wait for invite 1st before submitting SS? For 190 you submit EOI and then get invited to apply for state sponsorship, and if the state decides to sponsor you you get the visa invite. Hi Anusha, To share my experience with you, I received state sponsorship from Tasmania (after about 1 week) and was asked to apply for the 489 Skilled State Nominated Provisional visa. I'm not sure where the EOI came in but I am working through M2OZ and they just sent me the forms and told me what I needed to do. Visas were lodged on 15th June but awaiting our twins UAB birth certificates which is probably the reason for our delay. LOL Posted November 10, 2017 Report Share Posted November 10, 2017 Hi guys We applied for 189 (60 points - electrician general) and 190 NSW with 65 points on the 31st of October and received invite to apply for SS on the 3rd of November, paid and submitted the application for 190 NSW on Monday the 6th Nov.
