Medicals were done 2 weeks ago but Dr Cobb said there was a slight murmur on our 5 year old son's heart. He said that it wasn't serious and that we shouldn't be worried (30% of small children have it) but that we should just have our pediatrician check it out just to be safe. He gave us a letter to give to our Dr but he did not expressly say that the medical report would not be concluded until a report was received from our Dr. A few days after our medicals I checked online and my wife and daughter's medicals had been finalised but mine and my son's said that still being processed by the clinic. A week after our medical I e-mailed Dr Cobb's office to find out the status. I received a reply that they were still waiting for my X-rays to be submitted and the report from the pediatrician. Luckily my wife had made an appointment for our son at the pediatrician for this Wednesday (tomorrow) but as I said, Dr Cobb did not specify that the report had to be done in order to finalise the medical. Miscommunication I'm sure. If we had known we would have made an appointment earlier. As of today our statuses still say being processed by clinic. It makes sense why my son's is still being processed but surely mine should have been finalised by now (two weeks later)? Unless they are intending to submit mine and my son's together? The frustrating part was that I thought my application was decision ready, having already submitted the scores to DIBP. in April I find it strange that the CO asked me to submit the scores as if I had not done so when I had I actually uploaded a screen shot to my immiacount showing the submision history.
