I just have to get my wife to cast a second eye over everything then we can submit and pay - probably on Wednesday 18th. I have all docs except for PCC which I will only get once a case officer is assigned (or should I get it now?). Anyone else applying please feel free to add your details. LM17 Posted November 1, 2017 Report Share Posted November 1, 2017 You just need to be patient mate, our final 189 application went in on 3 April, we were only approved on 20 Sep, with first entry date 20 March 2018. grootliam Posted November 15, 2017 Report Share Posted November 15, 2017 Hi all We also submitted our 457 Visa application on 11 October with as much supporting docs as possible. Then we were asked later to do medicals for the family (2 adults and two boys 3 &7years ). These were done on 23 October and shown as updated on 27 October with no other medicals needed. Our status since then shows: This application has been received by the department and will be assessed. CO requested Wife’s PCC in her maiden name and more employment proof such as payslips, bank statements showing deposits or tax certificates. Praise God!!! 🙌 So extrememly happy and relieved! Everything we’ve done the past few months have culminated to this moment, and the feeling is awesome! All the the stress and worry was worth it!! Needless to say, my heart rate climbed a tad when I saw an email from DIBP! Holding thumbs for an update soon.
