KirstyS
I moved across almost 18 months ago with my now 19 (almost 20) year old son. He couldn't study due to finances in the first year. And we thought he would find a casual job. 18 months later and only ONE interview...and that was a 'no thank you'. The few people I have spoken to say companies prefer up to 17 year olds as their 'cost' is cheaper. And they expect a 19 year old to have experience. We have had his CV (which contains very little) professionally redone. He has done a Barista and Food handling course. I don't know how else to help him. ANY suggestions? He has done CV drops, has profiles on all the sites. We are in Perth.
