We got our visas in February and the long wait has meant a roller coaster of emotions, lots of procrastination and some doubt. It's a little like taking off a bandaid - the quicker you do it, the less it hurts. Gratefully we are now at the stage of having our one way tickets booked for 30 December and have started to pack. It is odd to think that the boxes we are packing now will stay packed for 6+months. Some days I agree with @Husky thinking a fast move would be better, and other times it feels like 6 months isn't enough time.
