Ashmount Posted May 29, 2017 Report Share Posted May 29, 2017 Morning Roomies, We have not yet been assigned a Case Officer and this morning my husband sent an email to immi@parents and he received the following reply: "OFFSHORE APPLICANTS (subclass 143/173) When your application is allocated to an assessing officer, you or your authorised contact may be asked to provide more documents, including but not limited to, Assurance of Support (subclass 143 only), police certificates and health clearances to finalise your application. We are currently assessing applications lodged up to and including 13 October 2014." Good news for all in the waiting room. We have now contacted our agent to ascertain if they are able to shed a bit more light on our application. I am on short finals and waiting for clearance to land. In this regard, this morning, I received notification, to make arrangements to pay the 2nd Visa Application Fee. I was anticipating this and, as such, had prepared the bank cheques - they are now on the way by registered mail to the PVC in Perth. Regards to all and I will keep you updated. Realistically, now you're in for the packing and cancellations of cell phones, credit cards, medical aid, short term insurance, Telkom, Internet, DSTV, TV License, have your vacuum cleaner cleaned, change your banking rvn to email (if it has been sent to your phone), etc, etc. Enjoy, it's the last stretch to the airport terminal and also a bit taxing at our age. Dirk, I have popped out of the clouds and now have the runway in sight but still waiting for clearance to land ! JTN - This Eagle needs to land before running out of fuel - some documents expire in June ! I am not sure if anyone in the PVC team monitors these forums.
