The definition of 'Aged' maps the age at which people become eligible to apply for the Aged Pension. Therefore, as of the 1st July 2017 the age at which men and women will be considered 'Aged' will increase by 6 months every 2 years until it reaches 67 on the 1st of July, 2023.
