Three80
Any agents or specialists out there that can give some advice in this regard. We hold Australian PR status with the potential of a permanent job offer for a NZ company based in NZ. We can legally work in NZ as a result of the PR, but what happens after our Australian RRV expires - with a job offer, can we get NZ Permanent Residency earlier (before RRV expires), instead of the standard NZ Residency status that you need to hold for two years first. Is there an avenue that the company could assist or sponsor us to get NZ PR earlier? Good opportunity, but don't want to loose Australian PR and after two years end up with neither
taylor1980
Hi. We did the same and as I understand it after 2 years you can apply for New Zealand PR.
