So we are waiting to see how much of a salary they will offer. But our question is, accomdation? "creche" where is good play to stay, as she will be working in the CBD. our son is now 2 and a half years old. How much is the cost etc, as we are seeing if we can survive. chzaau Posted November 15, 2013 Report Share Posted November 15, 2013 Make sure you negotiate your salary well, on a 457 you have to pay for a lot of things and get no benefits from the government in return, for example you have to pay school fees at government schools http://migrant.nabgroup.com/en/education-costs-for-457-visa-holdersAlso crèche is generally quite expensive some folks band around 90 AUD per day.
